Defence claims violation of rights of person suspected of arsoning kindergarten in Makhachkala

The head of the kindergarten No. 56 doubts the involvement of security guard Murad Ibaev in arsoning of the kindergarten building. Murad Ibaev confessed to the crime under pressure. This was stated by his advocate, who appealed against the decision on his client's arrest.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 31, in Makhachkala, a fire broke out at the building of the kindergarten No. 56 "Ivushka". According to the Makhachkala city education department, three attackers in masks entered the kindergarten, injured a guard with a knife, and set fire to a locker room.

On April 1, video records on the arson of the kindergarten building were published on the Internet. In one of the videos, a man who introduced himself as the father of an injured guard claimed that his son was subjected to pressure.

"According to the preliminary information, the guard of the kindergarten himself tried to set fire to the building. He has already confessed to the crime. He has explained his actions by 'dislike'," reports the press service of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

According to Naida Bagaudinova, the head of the kindergarten No. 56, Murad Ibaev brought all the necessary documents when he came to work at the kindergarten, including a certificate confirming that he was not registered as a patient of a neurological dispensary.

According to advocate Gasan Magomedov, Murad Ibaev has confessed to the crime on the video under pressure. The advocate also claims that his client was "attacked by three robbers."

The advocate also claims there are procedural violations in the case.
