Law enforcers identify one of suspects killed in Novolak District of Dagestan

One of the men killed today by law enforcers in the Novolak District of Dagestan has been identified as 28-year-old Anvar Gadjiev, while the second killed man has not been identified yet. Both of the suspects were members of the Khasavyurt militant grouping, reports a source from the law enforcement bodies.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening of December 31, law enforcers cordoned off a house in a village of the Novolak District. During the special operation, two suspected militants were killed, and two law enforcers got gunshot wounds. Today, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime has been introduced within a part of the Novolak District.

"According to the preliminary information, both militants were members of the 'Khasavyurt' militants grouping," reports a source from the law enforcement bodies as quoted by the RIA "Dagestan".
