The North-Caucasian   District Military Court has sentenced Feitulakh Nametulaev, a resident of Krasnodar, to three years in a general-security colony.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the press service of the above court that Nametulaev was accused of preparing to join the "Islamic State" (IS) (earlier – the ISIL, recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in Russia by the court, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") in the territory of Syria.

According to investigators, in autumn of 2014, Nametulaev became a devotee of the religious ideology of radical Islam and decided to go to Syria with the aim to join the IS.
