Investigation into death of teen in Belorechensk juvenile colony completed

Investigators have completed an investigation into the criminal case on beating of inmates of the Belorechensk juvenile correctional facility, one of whom died. The final indictment is drawn up against 10 former employees of the correctional facility. This was reported by representatives of the victim party.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to investigators, on November 25, 2015, warders of the Belorechensk correctional facility beat newcomers. Of them, six were injured and one died.

After the completion of the investigation into the case, 10 defendants and their advocates are to look through the case materials, the "Gazeta.ru" reports with reference to advocates of the victim party.

Two of the defendants are under house arrest, and others are detained, reports Andrei Sabinin, an advocate to the victim party.

"The investigators fear that the defendants may put pressure on the victims," said Andrei Sabinin as quoted by the "RAPSI" (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information).
