Several tenders announced in Nagorny Karabakh

The Armenian branch of the Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) has announced a tender for the construction of 14 first-aid posts in villages of Nagorny Karabakh. The tender is announced within the framework of the Humanitarian Assistance in Nagorny Karabakh program financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Another tender has been announced for the construction and reconstruction of water-pipes in the villages of Dzhragatsner, Avetaranots and Dashushen, Nagorny Karabakh's Askeransky district.

The US Congress allots humanitarian aid to Nagorny Karabakh by a separate item in the budget; such tenders are conducted regularly. Catholic Relief Services has worked in Nagorny Karabakh at the expense of USAID for the last few years. FAR won the tender this year. FAR's resources are used to reconstruct the irrigation system and social institutions.
