In connection with the statements made on the suspected organizer of the terror act in Istanbul, the interesting details have been revealed concerning former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, and an investigation is likely to be opened against him. On July 3, Irakli Sesiashvili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence and National Security, called Akhmed Chataev an agent of the Georgian secret services during the Mikhail Saakashvili's ruling.

On July 3, Sozar Subari, Georgian Minister for Affairs of Internally Displaced Persons from OccupiedTerritories, Refugees, and Accommodation, claimed that Mikhail Saakashvili would have to answer why he financed terrorists.

"It turns out that this well-known terrorist used to be an agent of Mikhail Saakashvili. When we talk about that, it is clear there is relevant evidence stored at the relevant authorities. An investigation is likely to be opened on the above fact, and it will be very interesting to listen to the answers of Mikhail Saakashvili," stated Sozar Subari as quoted by the "InterpressNews".
