Juma community worries about Moslem shrines in Iraq

The religious community of the Juma Mosque has issued a statement in connection with the tragic situation concerning Moslem shrines and scientific academies in Iraq. The statement reads: "The religious community of the Juma Mosque believes no reasons and conditions can serve as argumentation for and cause the creation of and support for such a tragic situation. Such an attitude towards Moslem shrines and scientific academies cannot be justified in the modern world, which longs for dialogue and understanding of civilizations. The Juma religious community rates the developments in Iraq as the unexampled jeering at religious feelings of Moslems living all over the world. We demand that all destructive activity aimed at the Moslem shrines and scientific academies be stopped immediately."
