Russian SC upholds decision of Chechen Court to close "Community of Creative Forces"

Following the results of consideration of the appeal filed by "Community of Creative Forces" against the Chechen Supreme Court's decision on the liquidation of the organization, the Russian Supreme Court (SC) has upheld the verdict. Thus, the request of the Chechen Prosecutor to liquidate the regional public organization "Community of Creative Forces" has been granted.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 1, the Chechen Supreme Court liquidated the regional public organization "Community of Creative Forces" because of the violations revealed during the prosecutor's check. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the "Community of Creative Forces" carried out educational activities without an appropriate licence. One of the directions of its activities has been declared as social adaptation of children with disabilities. To achieve those goals, the organization created "School of Life", which conducted classes for children with disabilities. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the "School of Life" was opened in a private house, the conditions failed to comply with the requirements of the law on fire safety and sanitary-epidemiological norms.

It is noted that the children found in the "School of Life" are returned to their families for further transfer to the child care centres.

Earlier, it has been reported that on July 23, the Zavodskoi District Court of Grozny found Aishat Rezvanova, a teacher of the "School of Life", guilty of beating a disabled child.
