Court decision to return land plot to pensioner Dubovaya in Sochi upheld

The Krasnodar Territorial Court has dismissed the appeal complaints against the decision of the District court of Sochi, which had granted the petition lodged by pensioner Nina Dubovaya about return of her land plot.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Dubovaya stated that she lost her land plot at No. 32 Poltavskaya Street as a result of illegal actions of her neighbour and asked the court to return the land plot back to her. On March 18, the Tsentralny District Court of Sochi granted Ms Dubovaya's claim and returned the land plot to her. The respondent Gulnara Shakhlamdjyan and co-respondent Emzar Vachiberadze lodged appeal complaints to the court decision.

On July 2, the Krasnodar Territorial Court held a hearing to consider the appeal complaints against the decision of the Tsentralny District Court of Sochi. The defendants demanded to cancel the decision, while Dubovaya insisted on rejecting the defendants' complaints.

After hearing the arguments of the parties, the court has ruled to uphold the court ruling and refused to satisfy the respondents' appeal complaints. Thus, the court ruling has come into force.
