Human rights activists urge peaceful resolution of Adjarian conflict

President of the Association for Human Rights Defense Giorgy Tevzadze has issued a statement that the developments taking place in Adjaria must be settled in a peaceful way. "An armed conflict, which will blemish the history of Georgia, must not be allowed. Both the sides will bear responsibility for making the situation more tense and creating the armed conflict in Adjaria," reads the statement.
