Seminar on ethnic relations, conflict resolution takes place in Pyatigorsk
The seminar "Ethnic Relations in Russian Regions: Conflict Prevention and Resolution" took place at the Pyatigorsk Branch of the North Caucasian Academy of Public Service in late April. It was arranged with the assistance of the European Union within the framework of the Tacis project to improve interethnic relations and develop tolerance in Russia. Among the participants were representatives of the European Commission in Russia, Tacis project directors, scientists, city and district government officials, members of national cultural associations, Cossacks and NGO activists from the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody area.
