Chechen war photography exhibition

The street photo exhibition "The Road to Nowhere" will open on Pobedy Square in Ryazan at about 2 p.m. on June 5. The exhibition is arranged within the framework of the "How Many?" campaign waged by the Ryazan Human Rights Coalition. It consists of the works of known photographers: Yury Shchekoldin (Russia), Valery Kozyrev (Russia) and Stanley Green (USA), who worked in Chechnya during military operations. The exhibition will last till June 7.

A "mail point" of the "How Many?" campaign will work during the exhibition and all those who wish will have an opportunity to sign letters of inquiry about the number of victims in the zone of the Chechen conflict and measures taken to provide people's safety there and sent them to the Russian president and to the defense minister. Ryazan residents have already signed and sent over 500 letters of inquiry for the last two weeks.
