Georgia's development level does not meet any standards, Russian businessman says

Viktor Vekselburg, a Russian businessman, believes the Georgian-Russian relations will better develop and there will be better conditions for Russian investments in Georgia since the Georgian government has opened doors for Russian businessmen.

Mr Vekselburg told Georgian journalists on May 28 that the Georgian economy looked quite bad for the man who had not been in this country for 20 years. "The level of the country's development doesn't meet any standards," he said.

Mr Vekselburg thinks Russian businessmen may be interested in the Georgian tourism, hotel system, roads, transportation and communications. He also called energetics a sphere of the Russian businessmen's concern.
