Georgian PM to arrive in Moscow

Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania is arriving in Moscow today, May 24, to discuss with the Russian leadership a wide range of issues concerning bilateral relations.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is expected to be one of Mr Zhvania's interlocutors in Moscow, a diplomatic source reported.

"Meetings in Moscow will be the continuation of the dialogue with Secretary of the Russian State Security Council Igor Ivanov launched in Tbilisi," Mr Zhvania said to journalists.

"Issues of the resolution of conflicts in Georgia will be considered as well, including the one concerning the possible introduction of the train service through Abkhazia," he added.
