Participants of unsanctioned rally in Minvody arrested for 10 days

Four participants of the unauthorized rally in the city of Mineralnye Vody (Minvody) have been brought to administrative responsibility – they were administratively arrested for 10 days. Among those arrested is Alexei Grischenko, a member of the local public movement "Veche CMV", the "Blocknote-Stavropol" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on January 21, in Minvody, during a mass brawl near the cafe "Opera", a soldier of Interior Troops was killed. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the brawl was caused by a household conflict. On January 22, the detention of the main suspect of the murder – Mikhail Grigoryan – was reported.

On January 24, Minvody hosted a people's assembly, attended by about 300 residents. The participants of the unsanctioned event demanded from the authorities to fairly investigate the murder of the soldier.

Today, a working sitting of the territorial government and heads of executive authorities of the Stavropol Territory was held. Yuri Skvortsov, the deputy chairman of the territorial government, reported the results of checking the cafe after the murder. According to his story, the café worked with numerous violations. In particular, its owners had no license to sell alcoholic beverages, reports the website of the government of the Stavropol Territory.

The Governor of the Territory Vladimir Vladimirov demanded to bring the bar owners to justice.
