Alla Dudayeva does not want to be Russian citizen

The widow of assassinated Djokhar Dudayev, the first president of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, wants to abandon Russian citizenship. "I would be glad if some state, Estonia for instance, offered me its citizenship and passport. It would allow me to live and move with much safety," Alla Dudayev said to the Eesti Pаevaleht newspaper.

Her Russian passport will expire soon and she will have to leave a place of her residence for Russia to get a new one, said Ms Dudayeva, who is an ethnic Russian. Despite promised security guarantees, she does not risk this trip, continued the widow of the ex-president of Ichkeria.
