No suspects detained yet in connection with terrorist act in Grozny
The Chechen police have denied the reports published on May 12 that 5 people were detained on suspicion of committing the terrorist act at the Dinamo stadium in Grozny. "The Chechen president's security service spread this information, we have nothing to do with it. No exact people suspected of organizing and executing this terrorist act have been detained by law-enforcement agencies so far. There are several people detained on suspicion of being linked to illegal armed units, but it wouldn't be right to say they were executors of the terrorist act at the Dinamo stadium on May 9. Nevertheless, the work in this direction is being done, and we hope it will produce results very soon," a source at the Chechen interior ministry said.
