Strength of Defense Ministry forces in Chechnya to remain unchanged

The terrorist act committed in Chechnya on May 9 will not entail an increase in the strength of Defense Ministry forces on the territory of the republic, Russian Minster of Defense Sergey Ivanov told journalists on May 11.

Describing the happening at the Dinamo stadium on Victory Day as a "vile terrorist act", Mr Ivanov said: "We think that the composition and strength of Defense Ministry forces, interior troops, and other security agencies are enough for today. There is no need to increase the strength of these forces at all."
