Revival party, led by Abashidze, exists no longer in fact

The Revival party, founded and led by the former head of Adjaria Aslan Abashidze, exists no longer in fact. Gamlet Chipashvili, the former deputy of the Georgian parliament for the Revival party and former head of the delegation of the Adjarian Autonomous Republic in Tbilisi, announced in on May 10.

The Revival party "cannot continue its work since the founder of the party, Aslan Abashidze, has left the county, Mr Chipashvili said. The party "started breaking up as early as the autumn of 2003", he added.
