Russian foreign minister offers Tbilisi 'not to raise question' about Abkhazia

Russia keeps on advocating Georgia's territorial integrity, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in Moscow today, during his meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zurabishvili. Commenting on relations between the Georgian government and authorities in Abkhazia and South Osetia, Mr Lavrov said that "the approaches to these republics were coordinated long ago, there are interaction mechanisms concerning all questions both in Tskhinvali and Sukhumi."

"I wouldn't raise the question about Abkhazia like some politicians in Tbilisi do after developments in Adjaria," Sergey Lavrov added.
