Bokov: casualties of special operation in Ingushetia prepared terror acts for Republic Day

The members of the armed underground, killed on Saturday during a special operation in the village of Sagopshi, Malgobek District, had been preparing a series of terror acts on the Day of Ingushetia, said Timur Bokov, the head of the department for relations with mass media of the administration of the head of Ingushetia. Those killed in Sagopshi included the killers of Akhmed Kotiev, the Secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia, said the head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov.

Timur Bokov said that, according to preliminary data, seven people were killed in the village.

He added that, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the militants killed in the village of Sagopshi "had been preparing a series of terror acts dated to June 4 – the Day of the Republic of Ingushetia."

According to preliminary data, those killed in a special operation had been involved in killing Akhmed Kotiev, the Secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia, and other citizens of the republic, the ITAR-TASS quotes Yunus-Bek Evkurov as saying.

Those involved were, in particular, Akhmed Evloev and Magomed Polonkoev, Timur Bokov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
