In Dagestan, school teacher is suspected of possessing weapons and involvement in attack on policemen

Three residents of the village of Sogratl of the Gunib District of Dagestan, detained on May 17, are suspected of possessing weapons. Their relatives claim that grenades were planted to the detainees by law enforcers, who conducted searches in the village.

On May 17, the information on searches in the village of Sogratl was received by the SMS service of the "Caucasian Knot". "In the village of Sogratl, law enforcers conduct unlawful searches, unlawfully detain civilians and plant ammunition to them," the author has written in the SMS. In the afternoon, it became known that five local residents, including the principal of the secondary school, were detained during the searches.

Late in the evening of the same day, two of the detainees were released. At present, the other detainees Suleiman Enkhov, the principal of the secondary school, Shamil Naibov, and Sultan Gamzalov are being kept at the Levashi OVD (Interior Division). This was reported by Khadjimurad Enkhov, a brother of the principal of the secondary school.

Apart from illegal possession of weapons, Suleiman Enkhov is suspected of involvement in the assault on the law enforcers. This has been added by his brother.
