Armenian opposition reports on abductions of its activists by police

Officers of security agencies in mufti are taking opposition activists away in an unknown direction, reads the statement issued by the opposition party Anrapetutiun (Republic) on April 10.

"After a meeting, strangers in mufti abduct its participants, especially those who held banners, and take them to police departments. All the efforts we have made to learn anything about the destiny of meeting participants being held by the police have been unsuccessful," reads the statement.
