Ultimatum presented by Armenian opposition to authorities expires today

The ultimatum presented by the Armenian opposition to the country's authorities expired on April 12, at 12:00 local time.

The factions Justice and National Unity demanded that the parliament should adopt the amendments and supplements to the Law on the Referendum that the opposition need to conduct a referendum on the vote of confidence to President Robert Kocharian.

Otherwise "the people will stand to the end", Viktor Dallakian, secretary of the parliamentary faction of the Justice bloc, announced at the meeting arranged by the opposition on April 9.
