Dagestani Govt to set up commission to protect the rights of defrauded housing investors
The Dagestani Government has decided to establish a special commission to protect the rights of those citizens who had invested into shared housing construction and identify the persons in charge for each problematic object.
The decision was made on August 29 after a criminal case was opened against Khabib Nartgishiev, the director of the Construction Company "Stroymir", suspected of a fraud – conclusion of contracts of investing into construction of same apartments with several citizens at a time.
At its sitting on August 29, the Government of Dagestan also discussed the problems of defrauded investors. It was decided to make an inventory of the 12 multi-flat houses built or being built by the "Stroymir", the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the press service of the Government.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Khabib Nartgishiev, Director General of the LLC "Stroymir", while building the apartment house at No. 163 "g" in Kazbekova Street in Makhachkala, concluded investment contracts with different people on same flats. As a result, according to the prosecutor's office, he stole the cash amounting to more than 11 million roubles.
