Victim of terror act wants to collect 50 million roubles from "Domodedovo" Airport

The Presnya Court of Moscow received a claim, filed against the "Domodedovo" Airport for reimbursement of damages in connection with the terror act, committed in January 2011. The total amount of the claims reaches 50 million roubles.

The terror act at the Moscow "Domodedovo" International Airport was committed on January 24, 2011, and it killed 37 persons. Responsibility for organizing the terror act was undertaken by Dokku Umarov, the leader of North-Caucasian militants.

Victim Elena K., born in 1963, was at the centre of the explosion, and she was seriously injured. Till present, she receives medical treatment, and she cannot move freely on her own. The plaintiff has experienced and is experiencing a physical pain, physical and mental suffering, she undergoes moral damage and requires expensive medical treatment. This was reported by the today's statement at the website of the "Trunov, Aivar and Partners" Bar of Moscow.

The statement notes that staff members of the aviation safety failed to fulfil their duties properly, and as a result, an explosive device was brought to the territory of the airport terminal and then activated.
