Alibek Botashev: ex-President of Karachay-Cherkessia to be questioned at trial on case of Fral Shebzukhov's murder
Today, the Supreme Court of Karachay-Cherkessia continued questioning of prosecution witnesses on the case of the murder of Fral Shebzukhov, the advisor of Boris Ebzeev, ex-President of Karachay-Cherkessia.
The very ex-President is also a witness in the case, and he will be questioned at the next court session, scheduled for December 5. This was reported by Alibek Botashev, Press Secretary of the Supreme Court of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR).
Fral Shebzukhov was killed on May 12, 2010, in Cherkessk. The prisoners' dock contains Magomet Djubuev, Alik Totorkulov, Sultan Djankezov, and Nazim Kuscheterov. At the court session, held on October 3, the defendant pleaded not guilty.
Today, the Court listened to testimony of the wife of the brother of the murdered man, who was a witness to the crime. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" by Ruslan Shifadugov, the lawyer of the victims.
However, according to the lawyer, since the murderers were in masks, the witness was not able to identify them among the defendants.
