355 prisoners to be released from Georgian prisons by November 1, Sozar Subari asserts

By November 1, about 355 prisoners will be released from penitentiary institutions of Georgia. This was reported on October 29 Sozar Subari, new Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance. At the same time, it became known that two parliamentary committees begin work on the draft law "On Amnesty."

According to Sobar Subari, the process of conditional early relief was started on October 28.

The new Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance also announced plans to release seriously ill prisoners. "Those prisoners, who are seriously ill, should not stay in prisons, and we plan to release those prisoners, the number of which reaches several dozen persons. They must be released, since human health is the most important thing," the "Georgia Online" quotes Sozar Subari as saying.

At the same time, Sozar Subari called on prisoners not to cause self-injuring, demanding to meet him. He has added that on October 28, an inmate of the Gldani prison sewed his mouth, demanding to meet the Minister, the "Echo of the Caucasus" reports.
