35 Syrian Circassians move from capital of Adygea to Panakhes village

During October, six families of Syrian Circassians 35 persons, including children as half of them moved from Maikop to the village of Panakhes of the Takhtamukai District. This was reported by Asker Sokht, Chairman of the Krasnodar regional public organization "Adyge Khasa".

"Repatriates from Syria arrived in Adygea three months ago. They lived in Maikop, rented housing there and formed necessary documents through the Division of the Federal Migration Service of the region. At present, all persons, who moved to the village of Panakhes, received the rights for temporary residence and employment, they have tax payer's number and medical policy in short, all the necessary documents," Asker Sokht told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

One family of repatriates purchased a private house in the village of Panakhes, while other families rented houses for one year and plan to purchase housing in the future.

"We work in multinational environment, and, therefore, we expect to quickly learn Russian," said repatriate Mustafa Mamun, a builder. And he continued: "Starting from September 1, our children attend the school in Maikop, and many of them already understand the Russian language."

In early November, two more families of Syrian Circassians plan to move to the village of Panakhes from Maikop, and they intend to purchase a house in the village. The villagers expect that by late November, the number of families of repatriates will reach ten.
