Georgia's Parliament approves Government
By a majority of votes, the Parliament of Georgia approved the government composition and the government programme "Strong, democratic and united Georgia", presented by the coalition "Georgian Dream", which won the parliamentary elections.
The new government of Georgia was formed by the coalition "Georgian Dream", which won the parliamentary elections, held on October 1. On October 8, Bidzina Ivanishvili, the leader of the coalition, announced the new government.
88 MPs voted "pro" new government composition, and 54 MPs voted "contra". Bidzina Ivanishvili, the leader of the coalition "Georgian Dream", was appointed Prime Minister of Georgia. There government composition includes two Vice Prime Ministers: Irakli Alasaniya, Minister of Defence, and Kakha Kaladze, Minister of Energetics, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
