In Sochi, court marshals intend to demolish Alexei Kravets' house till October 25

In Sochi, the house of Alexei Kravets, located in Prosvescheniya Street, will be demolished on October 25. This was reported by Ruslan Portnov, Bailiff of the Adler District.

On October 24, court marshals presented to Alexei Kravets the ruling that implied that he should immediately demolish his three-storey house, recognized to be unsanctioned construction.

"I have appealed the court decision on the demolition of my house and the ruling of the court marshal; however, officials do not respond to appeals and complaints," Alexei Kravets states.

"In case if Alexei Kravets fails to demolish his house until tomorrow, then the court marshals will hire a contractor for those purposes, who prepare a bill that Alexei Kravets will be obliged to pay as losses," Bailiff Ruslan Portnov stated.

Alexei Kravets himself told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he was not aware of the plans to demolish his house till October 25. "Any court marshal's ruling can be challenged. However, that ruling contained not a single word about my right to appeal against it," Alexei Kravets said.

The Adler District Court has explained that Alexei Kravets really filed an appeal against the court decision on the demolition of his house. However, filing of private appeal against the decision on the immediate execution of the court decision shall not suspend the execution of the decision, lawyer Alexander Popkov emphasizes.
