In Rostov-on-Don, second suspect of organizing explosion at apartment of staff member of educational division, arrested

In Rostov-on-Don, the court pronounced a pre-trial restriction measure in the form of detention in custody to a 58-year-old suspect of organizing an explosion at apartment of a staff member of the educational division, in which her 63-year-old mother was killed and she and her son were injured.

Let us remind you that earlier, a 27-year-old man was taken into custody on that case.

The director of one of the extended education institution of Rostov-on-Don and his deputy are the suspects of organizing the explosion.

At the trial, the defender of the suspect presented certificates that his client had a heart disease. The defender has also pointed to the fact that his client is a category III invalid and that he can feel worse at any time. However, the court, after having listened to the lawyer's statement, made a decision to take the man into custody, the "Bloknot Rostov-na-Donu" reports.

Both suspects are charged of committing the crimes under Paragraph "e" of Part 2 of Article 105 (murder committed by generally dangerous method), Part 3 of Article 30, Subparagraphs "a, c, f" of Part 2 of Article 105 (attempted murder of two or more persons), Part 1 of Article 222 (illegal acquisition, storage and transportation of an explosive device) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

The maximum penalty, provided by those articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, is life imprisonment.

The investigation into the criminal case is underway. This was reported by the website the Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) in the Rostov Region.
