Picketers in Dagestan unblocked the roadway after a representative of the Ministry of Interior Affairs promised to find the missing Shamil Saipulaev

Residents of the settlement of Tsatanikh, Untsuklul district of Dagestan, unblocked the roadway at the entrance of the settlement of Gimry after Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs of the republic Magomed Ismailov promised to find Head of the settlement Shamil Saipulaev who disappeared on October, 6.

It should be reminded that in the evening of October, 8, residents of Tsatanikh blocked the highway near the settlement of Gimry demanding from members of power ministries to find out Shamil Saipulaev's location. The military who arrived addressed the protesters demanding to stop the picket but they refused to break up. Later a delegation of the demonstrators went to the town of Buinaksk to have a meeting with Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs of the republic Magomed Ismailov.

Magomed Ismailov invited the group of protesters to a meeting, one of the picketers Magomedali Magomedov reported.

"The delegation from the protesters, father and brother of the missing man among them, met with Deputy Head of the Ministry of Interior Affairs. Ismailov promised to do his best within the next few days to find out Saipulaev's location. On their way to the meeting with Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs the picketers unblocked the highway", Magomedali Magomedov said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to him, the number of picketers reached one hundred persons.

However, according to the Ministry of Interior Affairs, about 70 people were blocking the roadway. 105 members of power ministries were brought there to secure public order, web-site of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan reports.

About three hundred cars could neither enter the settlement of Gimry nor leave it because of the protest action, the police reported earlier.

It should be mentioned that Shamil Saipulaev disappeared in Khasavyurt. His fellow villagers do not rule out that he was kidnapped. Saipulaev has a baby and a pregnant wife and his younger brother was accused of illegal storage of arms and convicted, a report received by the "Caucasian Knot" SMS-service runs.
