Families of policemen, killed in Nalchik, to receive financial aid

Families of policemen, who were killed in the militants' attack on Nalchik, committed on October 13, 2005, will receive financial aid in the amount of 10,000 roubles.

On October 5, the allocation of funds, intended for material support, was reported by Anzor Kardanov, Deputy Chief for Work with Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR). According to him, the assistance will be provided by the voluntary contributions of staff members of the MIA of the KBR.

"In total, the MIA in Kabardino-Balkaria has registered 213 families of staff members, killed in the execution of line of duty. They will be provided financial assistance in the total amount of 2,130,000 roubles, that is, 10,000 roubles per family," Anzor Kardanov said.
