Preventive punishment to one of the defendants on the case of assault at Nalchik altered, he is on his own recognizance

Today during trial on the case of assault at Nalchik on October, 13, 2005, preventive punishment to defendant Anzor Ashev was altered, he is now on his his own recognizance. Preventive punishment to the rest defendants who are kept in custody was prolonged for three more months.

"The form of preventive punishment to Ashev is subject to alteration for leaving him on his own recognizance because the defendant constitutes no public danger", judge of the Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria Azamat Vologirov said reading out the court decision.

Defendant Ashev was released from custody in the courtroom.

Preventive punishment to all the defendants was prolonged till December, 26, inclusive.
