Russia's ICRF finds claims of Saniyat Magomedova's father-in-law groundless

Saniyat Magomedova, who was killed in Khasavyurt, was not pregnant; and her father-in-law Mamatkhan Baisultanov tried to receive - through his complaints against investigators - material compensation, said the Investigatory Department for Dagestan of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

"The interrogated MIA agents, involved in the special operation, has reported that in the dark hours of the day two armed persons ran out of Baisultanov's house, who shouted 'Allah Akbar' and began shooting. Policemen opened return fire. After the shooting, they found in the venue a wounded Khasan Baisultanov, a submachine gun near him, and the body of Saniyat Magomedova," says the message of the above Department of the ICRF, received by the "Caucasian Knot".

"According to the forensic medical expert, Saniyat Magomedova was not pregnant. The Investigatory Department has examined (including the repeated ones) more than 20 Baisultanovs' complaints and applications, and answered them. Saniyat Magomedova's husband Khasan Baisultanov and her relatives have no claims against the criminal investigation and decisions made; however, Mamatkhan Baisultanov, by complaining to all instances is pursuing his exclusively selfish goal - to receive a financial compensation from the state for the illegal, in his opinion, actions of the police, and not to establish the truth," the ICRF has explained.

Let us note here that relatives, neighbours and numerous eyewitnesses of the special operation have asserted that Khasan Baisultanov and Saniyat Magomedova had nothing to do with militants - power agents had just shot them dead.
