MIA: persons, who kidnapped policeman in Dagestan, wanted to hijack his car

Investigators consider robbery as the main version of kidnapping of a law enforcement officer in Dagestan. The purpose of the kidnappers was a car of the police officer. This was reported by a source in the Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

"A group of kidnappers, which included four persons, approached a roadside cafe with a car. Two of the kidnappers wore masks and camouflage. They entered the cafe and approached the police officer, who was in civilian clothes, since he was on vacation. The persons introduced themselves as law enforcement officers and forced the police officer to go out with them. They forced the police officers into their car, grabbed his Lada Priora car and drove away from the place. Later, the kidnappers released the police officer in Khasavyurt near the bridge over the Aktash River. Robbery is the basic version of the kidnapping. At present, the investigation is underway," said a representative of the press service of the Dagestani MIA.

The MIA has also noted that the police officer feels all right, and he gave the appropriate evidence. Investigators are looking for the car and the group of people, who stole it.
