Mirzaev's attorney asks to make the medics who rendered aid to Agafonov criminally liable

Attorney of athlete from Dagestan Rasul Mirzaev as a result of whose blow Muscovite Ivan Agafonov died asks Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation to make the medics of the First City Hospital of Moscow who rendered aid to the victim untimely and improperly criminally liable.

Today Mirzaev's attorney Alexey Grebenskoy reported that he submitted a statement of calling to account officials from among the medical personnel of the First City Hospital to Vadim Yakovenko, Head of Chief Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation (CIR) in Moscow.

The lawyer explained that he did it in connection with facts of rendering aid to Agafonov untimely and improperly revealed in process of the trial, "Interfax" reports.

Alexey Grebenskoy sent the statement to CIR on September, 12, demanding punishment for the physicians who rendered medical aid to Ivan Agafonov, "Vesti FM" reports.

It should be mentioned that medics of the First Municipal Hospital were interrogated during the sessions of the court. In particular, physician of the hospital Ekaterina Zakharova who examined Ivan Agafonov in the admission department said that the result of the examination was a diagnosis of "injuries of soft-tissue of the face". Agafonov had to be placed in neurosurgical department but for the reason of absence of places he was taken to traumatology department and from there moved to resuscitation unit.
