Georgian MIA reports detention of militant from Northern Caucasus in Lopota Gorge

As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) a member of the armed grouping, which was exposed to a special operation in late August near the Dagestani section of the Georgian-Russian border, was detained in Georgia.

In Lopota Gorge, the MIA detained Akhmet Chataev, a Russian citizen and a resident of Northern Caucasus. The special operation with the aim to detain other members of the armed grouping continues, the "News Georgia" quotes the MIA today.

The detainee was wounded and received the necessary medical care, the "Echo of the Caucasus" Radio reports.
