Members of the top brass were searching the Khazbievs' house in Nazran for about an hour, Ingush oppositionist Magomed Khazbiev reported. Representatives of the Ministry of Interior Affairs informed that the incident really took place but they were not aware of the details yet.

According to Magomed Khazbiev, at 5:40 in the morning his house in Nazran was surrounded by special techniques. Armed and masked people started knocking on the gate. "I was out and my father did no open the gate for some time after which the members of the top brass declared that if he did not let them in the gate would be pulled down by special techniques. He had to obey", the oppositionist said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to Magomed Khazbiev, the search in the house lasted about an hour. "My room was an object of an especially thorough search. They looked for me throughout the whole house and other buildings in our courtyard. They probably thought that I was hiding myself somewhere in a shed or loft", Khazbiev said.

He added that in reply to his father's question on what grounds the search was carried out one of the members of the top brass advised him to appeal to Chief of Nazran district Department of Interior Affairs Nokha Tsechoev.

To a request to comment on the actions of law enforcement officers concerning Magomed Khazbiev , Jabrail Shaukhalov, Head of Press Service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ingushetia, replied that he got the news of the incident 10 minutes before and was not yet ready to produce a comment on the matter.
