Two residents of Pyatigorsk injured in a mass scuffle
Two local residents in Pyatigorsk were hospitalized with wounding as a result of a mass scuffle with the use of a traumatic gun.
"At about seven in the morning, September, 2, a verbal skirmish sprang up between two visitors of one of the night clubs of Pyatigorsk. Already several minutes later some acquaintances come to the aid of the excited wranglers. The verbal skirmish swiftly developed into a mass scuffle", a representative of the Ministry of Interior Affairs reported.
According to him, during the scuffle "one of its participants, a twenty-eight-years-old man, shot several times from a registered traumatic gun". The scuffle was suppressed by the policemen who arrived. "Some participants tried to escape from the scene of the incident. Their identity was established in several hours, they were taken to the police department and interrogated", the source explained.
Two persons were taken to municipal hospital with traumas not dangerous for their lives. Within the framework of inquiry a traumatic gun, records of drive recorders and a rubber bullet were impounded, web-site of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Russian Federation reports.
A criminal case was initiated on the fact according to clause "hooliganism" stipulating maximal penalty in form of up to seven years of custody, RIA "Novosti" reports.
