On August, 23, unidentified people beat up and kidnapped the thirty-three years old Shamil Abdurashidov, Director of a subsidiary unitary enterprise “Dagselkhozchimia”, his brother Khizri Abdurashidov informed. At 10:00 this morning the kidnapped man’s relatives came out to a meeting near the Russian Theatre of Makhachkala demanding to find out his location. By dinner when they failed to achieve their goal they moved to the building of Public prosecutor’s office of Dagestan.

Public prosecutor on duty promised that the statement of Shamil Abdurashidov’s relatives would be thoroughly considered.

“They do not know where Shamil is but the personnel of Public prosecutor’s office promised to do their best to find him. We hope they will, however we will also search for Shamil by ourselves”, Madina Abdurashidova said to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.

The kidnapped person’s wife Mariam Abdurashidova remarked that her husband’s relatives still knew nothing about his location. “We appealed to all the departments of interior affairs of the town and several temporary detention facilities but everywhere we were told that no information about my husband was available. We submitted a statement to Public prosecutor’s office, Committee of Inquiry, the Administration of the President of Dagestan and the Ministry of Interior Affairs. There is no response to our statement yet but we will wait”, she said.
