Massacre case in Kuschevskaya to be considered by jury
The Krasnodar Territorial Court has satisfied the petition of the alleged gang members accused of killing 12 people in the house of a farmer in the village of Kuschevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, and of other violent crimes, on having their case tried by a jury, lawyer of the victims, Ekaterina Romanova, a victims' advocate, told reporters.
The defendants are accused of killing 12 people in Kuschevskaya in November 2010 and a number of other crimes. Four of them asked to have their case considered by a jury, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
"The Court has ruled about a trial by a jury," the "Interfax" quotes the advocate, who also noted that the defence of the suffered party supported the ruling, because "these are always additional eyes."
