In Sochi, ICRF head Alexander Bastrykin received persons during one day

Today, at 9:00 a.m., Alexander Bastrykin, the head of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), finished receiving citizens in Sochi. For 22 hours, Mr Bastrykin received 70 persons from the Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk Territories, and Chelyabinsk and Moscow Regions.

In total, there were 150 people on the list. Most of the complaints received during the personal reception concerned the decisions made by officers of interior bodies and the Prosecutor's Office, issues of land relations and judicial rulings on civil and criminal cases.

Not all the persons could get to the reception, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

"Half of those on the list could talk to Bastrykin and hand their documents to him. At three o'clock in the morning, a round call was conducted. People who were absent at that moment were excluded from the list," said Yuri Molchanov, an activist of the "Centre for Defence of Citizens' Constitutional Rights and Interests", who was the last to be received by Alexander Bastrykin.

"At 9:00 a.m., an officer of the Federal Security Service went out and said that the reception was over. Ten more persons remained behind me in the line," said Molchanov and added that he had remained waiting during the whole day and wanted to give materials to the head of the ICRF on a group of "black realtors" in Sochi, who, in his opinion, were "sheltered" by Sochi law enforcers.

Nina Dubovaya, a resident of Sochi, said she was received by Bastrykin in 3:00 a.m. "He listened attentively to me, despite the late hour," said the woman. According to her story, she complained to the head of the ICRF about a local investigator and actions of the bosses of the Cadastre Chamber, who, as she said, were assigning different inventory numbers to same land plots, allowing fraudsters to resell other people's land.
