Armenia intends to welcome 400 children of Syrian Armenians for summer holidays
The "Armavia" Airline plans to carry out special flights to Syria to transport children of Syrian Armenians to Armenia. In total, it is planned to bring 400 children. This was reported by a representative of the Ministry of Diaspora.
According to the staff member of the Ministry, the special flights are not the evacuation of Armenian children; they will simply attend two-week summer camps in Armenia.

The first flight in the direction of Damascus is scheduled for August 9, the second one for August 23. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a representative of the national carrier.
The Ministry of Diaspora has also noted that in the event of aggravation of the situation in Syria, they are ready to discuss the issues on extending the term of Syrian children's staying in the country.
Starting from July 9, the "Armavia" Airline carried out six flights five regular and one additional flight in the direction of "Yerevan-Aleppo-Yerevan". During that period, the Airline carried 724 passengers: 131 in the direction of "Yerevan-Aleppo" and 593 from Aleppo to Yerevan.
