Three out of four suspected militants surrender during negotiations in Dagestan

Three suspected militants, blocked in a private house in Dagestani Khasavyurt, surrendered as a result of negotiations with power agents. One more suspected militant, hidden in the house, renders armed resistance. This was reported by a source in law enforcement agencies of the city.

On August 7, at about 11:00 p.m. Moscow time, fighters of Special Forces blocked a private house ownership in Khasavyurt, where, according to the preliminary information, four suspected militants had hidden.

"During all night, the power agents were negotiating with them to persuade them to lay down their arms," said the source in the law enforcement agencies.

According to him, at about 08:00 a.m. Moscow time, the power agents managed to persuade the suspected militants to lay down arms, and three militants left the house. At present, according to the source, it is known that they belong to sabotage and terror grouping "Khasavyurtovskaya", the persons surrendered are to be identified, the "Interfax" reports.

One of the persons, who had hidden in the blocked house in Dagestani Khasavyurt, refused to surrender and opened fire on the power agents, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
