At trial on Rasul Mirzaev's case court reads off testimonies of witnesses who failed to appear
During the trial on the case against sambo fighter Rasul Mirzaev, after whose blow Ivan Agafonov, a Moscow resident, died, public prosecutors announced testimonies of the witnesses, who failed to appear at the court session. This was reported by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the courtroom.
Today, the Zamoskvorechye District Court of Moscow continued examination of the evidence of guilt of the defendant Rasul Mirzaev. The public prosecutors summoned next witnesses for the questioning, and some of them failed to come.
It turned out, witness Ruslan Shamkhalov reported to investigator that he had not seen the moment of the blow.
During the investigation, Kakha Turmanidze confirmed that he had heard the words of Ivan Agafonov that he "took a bitch" and his words to the Rasul Mirzaev that "if it was necessary, he would take him also." Those words, according to Kakha Turmanidze, were followed by a Rasul Mirzaev's blow on the face of Ivan Agafonov, from which the Moscow resident fell.
Sergey Arzumanov saw the blow; however, he failed to describe the details of the incident to the investigator.
