Kizilyurt hosts rally of relatives and friends of kidnapped Khairulaev
A spontaneous protest action related to the kidnapping of Adam Khairulaev, a resident of the village of Komsomolskoye, Kizilyurt district of Dagestan, took place today in Kizilyurt. Adam's relatives plan to meet again tomorrow.
As reported by one of Adam's relatives, who named himself as Shamil, Khairulaev's relatives and fellow villagers began coming to the building of Kizilyurt ROVD (District Interior Division) from 3 a.m.; however, today they could not learn anything about his whereabouts.
"We stayed in front of the Kizilyurt ROVD from 3 a.m. in the hope to learn at least anything. Then everybody left by the evening namaz (prayer). ROVD officials promised to clear out by tomorrow: if Adam was detained, then where he was taken, as, according to their version, he is not kept at their ROVD," said the source.
