In Dagestan, armed persons in masks shot local resident dead
Yesterday, on August 1, at the highway Makhachkala-Astrakhan, in the Kumtorkalin District of Dagestan, three unidentified men in camouflage and masks shot and killed a resident of the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The incident occurred at 11:30 a.m. at the 790th kilometre of the federal highway Makhachkala-Astrakhan near the turning to the village of Almao of the Kumtorkalin District.
Men in camouflage and masks from a VAZ-2114 car of silver colour without state registration number plates stopped a VAZ-111730 Kalina car, driven by a 58-year-old resident of the village of Kirovaul of the Kizilyurt District. When the man came out of the car, the people, who stopped him, shelled him from firearms. As a result, the man died in the place from received multiple gunshot wounds.
The attackers fled in their car in the direction of Kizilyurt. This was reported by a daily bulletin on the state of crime in the Republic of Dagestan as of August 1, published on the website of the Republic's MIA.
