In Dagestan, Magomed Sulaev's lawyer claims she cannot get results of her client's medical examination

Lawyer of Magomed Sulaev, a released resident of the Khasavyurt District, claims that she is not given the results of the medical examination, which her client underwent on the fact of detection of bodily injuries.

On July 27, Magomed Sulaev underwent the medical examination, which results were to be announced on July 30. This was reported by the lawyer Sapiyat Magomedova. However, she was told that the results could be given only to a representative of the Investigatory Division.

"Finally, I was told at the Investigatory Committee, that on August 1, the investigator will have to pick up the report and tell us about the results," Sapiyat Magomedova has noted. She has added that she had barely managed to insist on conducting the medical examination "only after involvement to the issue of the Dagestani Ombudsperson and the Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic of Dagestan."

The lawyer has explained that all those data had been voiced to her at the meeting with Magomed Abdurashidov, Minister of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, which was held on July 31.

"The Minister has accepted the complaints from relatives of Magomed Sulaev and Anvar Guseinov and promised to check the facts," she said.

Till present, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan on the outcome of the meeting of Sapiyat Magomedov with the Dagestani Minister of Internal Affairs.
